Eckley, Colorado is a town of approximately 257 residents located on highway 34 between the cities of Yuma and Wray. Founded in 1889 and incorporated in 1922 the town sits on approximately 258 acres. Despite its small size, the town offers services such as, sewer and water systems, as well as a fully equipped volunteer fire department.

 

The town is centrally located in Yuma County with easy access to the cities of Yuma and Wray. The town has several parks, including the community center park and a large, modern skate park. The community center building host’s functions varying from small meetings to receptions for 300 people. The roping arena is a popular venue on summer evenings.
